AND Capital Ventures Announces Inaugural Builder’s Summit in Calgary
Three-day strategic planning event brings together leadership team to align operations, governance, and Fund I execution.

CALGARY, ALBERTA, CANADA, February 2, 2026 - AND Capital Ventures (“AND Capital”) announced the Builder’s Summit, an inaugural three-day strategic planning event taking place February 17–19, 2026, in Calgary, Alberta. The summit will bring together the firm’s leadership to align on operations, governance, and Fund I execution.
The event begins with Day 0 on February 16, featuring “Future of AI is NOW,” a 90-minute session on new ways of working with AI led by Chris Rex alongside Daniel Liebeskind. The session will explore how AI-powered tools and workflows can accelerate operations across fund management, deal execution, and portfolio company support.
The three-day summit agenda covers the full scope of platform operations:
- Day 1: Platform, Structure & Governance - Corporate structure finalization, Investment Committee governance framework, operating cadence, and decision-making authority across the AND Capital and 3AC Capital partnership.
- Day 2: Fund I, LP Raise, KPIs & Reporting - Fund I strategy and positioning, LP universe mapping, capital raising roadmap to First Close, KPI dashboard design, and financial reporting and controls.
- Day 3: M&A Practice Build & Go-Live - Operationalization of the mid-market M&A advisory practice, including team roles, pipeline sourcing, revenue targets, deal execution workflows, and integration with Fund I.
Participants include AND Capital co-founders Teruel Carrasco and Rod Heard, AND Capital COO Jennifer Sethre, 3AC Capital partners Loren Brink and Dr. Denise Brown, and Next Chapter Advisory Group partners Ewing Gillaspy, Mark DeChant, and Chris Rex. The summit will be held at AND Capital’s headquarters on the 28th floor of The Edison, 150 9th Ave SW, Calgary.
Key summit objectives include establishing operational clarity across the platform, finalizing Investment Committee governance, building a detailed roadmap to Fund I First Close, defining KPI frameworks with clear ownership, and launching the M&A advisory practice with repeatable processes and revenue targets.
